I recently returned home from another successful hunt with Bristle Ridge Whitetails. The accommodations and meals were the same as last year, GREAT! Once again just like 2012, 2013 was an outstanding adventure with numerous deer encounters. The weather cooperated just in time for me to take my best archery buck to date. Everyone in our party saw huge bucks and had shot opportunities at bucks in the 150’s. I have hunted in Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas and Bristle Ridge farms are second to none when it comes to producing big bucks. I have already booked my hunt for 2014 and I’m looking forward to besting the buck I got this year.

The best testimonial I can give is that I immediately rebooked the hunt again for next year. The people, accommodations, meals, hunting properties and game populations, were all excellent and I enjoyed all aspects. We saw wild game everywhere we went.

I booked a turkey hunt with Bristle Ridge Whitetails for the spring of 2013. Opening morning of turkey season turned out to be a beautiful morning. We had a puzzling beginning to our hunt. The distant, yet distinct gobbles of several different Tom’s had us wondering what the birds were doing. We held tight to our original plan and didn’t get excited to advance forward to different location. Shaun’s scouting put the bird consistently in this field. Throughout the next hour, we gathered a few more pieces of the puzzle. We knew about where the birds were and that they were finally moving in our direction. A little bit of Josh’s “pillow talk” brought the two Tom’s within sight of our decoys. Once they saw the decoys they came running. From then on the hunt was a blast! Actually, TWO blasts! Shaun and I were able to put deadly shots on the two big Tom’s at about 35 yards.
My hunt was over pretty quickly. However, talking with these young men in the short time we had together, gave me respect for them. They are passing their knowledge and passion for hunting on to others. Bristle Ridge Whitetails is all fair chase and no fences. They do a ton of work in the off season to cultivate food plots. In addition, to healthy food plots, they help supplement deer’s diet with minerals to promote health and big antlers. They care about their land, game, and putting you in the mix of it to make sure you have the opportunity to harvest the caliber of animal you want. Most of all they want to make sure you have a good time!
The guys at Bristle Ridge Whitetails are seasoned hunters and very patient guides. They won’t hesitate be your guide if you like. They give you the opportunity to do it on your own if you prefer. The thing that impressed me more than their hunting ability is their attention to safety, professionalism, positive attitudes, and integrity. I am looking forward to filling my second turkey tag this year and deer hunting with them in the future. I am sure you will enjoy hunting with Bristle Ridge Whitetails!

Eric, Shaun & Josh, Thank you guys so much for the best 3 days of hunting I have ever experienced. I cannot say enough about how great BRW is. These guys are the "REAL DEAL". Everyday we went out we seen Turkeys, Deer, Qual, ect. The first morning we heard at least 12 Tom's gobbling all around us. Our hunt was very specific, give my Dad 3 days to harvest a Tom and give my 12 yr old boy 1 day to harvest his. And Eric at BRW's made this happen. 1st day by 11 AM, my Dad filled his tag with a beautiful 22 lb Tom. My son got up there on day 3 and by 10:35 AM, he had a 24 lb bird tagged. These are no feeder driven hunts. You are not on a fenced in, managed landed with feeders all around you. This is unfenced, free range real hunting and these guys know their land like the back of their hand. If spot #1 didn't pan out, they had plan B, C & D ready to go. We sat in blinds and used decoys. We spotted and stalked. We scouted every evening and put birds to roost. There was no fascet of the hunt that these guys did not accomplish and help with. From lodging, great meals, videos of game cameras and prior hunts to answering ever question you might have, BRW's did it all. I feel like we not only had a great 3 day hunt, but made some great new friends. Thanks BRW for everything. This was our first ever guided hunt and you guys exceeded my expectations. See you all AGAIN next Spring Turkey season.
